We SNTC endeavor to be an organization which demonstrates a 'safety culture' and neither causes or nor provides any opportunity to cause any harm or injury to people or cause any damage to the environment. Our HSE motto is 'No Harm to People, Asset and Environment'.

HSE Principles

Our HSE Policy is based on and supported by our strong beliefs in following 'Five Principles':

  • All safety incidents, injuries, occupational illnesses and environmental damages are preventable.
  • All operational and hazardous exposures can be safeguarded.
  • Safety assessment of all 'critical and high risk' activities are vital.
  • Working safely is an immutable condition of employment.
  • Awareness and training of all employees to work safely and environment friendly is part of business process.

HSE Objectives

  • Ensure safe working place & provide health care for our employees.
  • Make our employees & others accompanying personals fully aware of risks, hazards & safe work practices before, during & after performing work at our premises and other locations where we perform our activities.
  • Make our employees aware of their responsibilities to identify and eliminate unsafe work practices and conditions in the work place.
  • Promote health safety and environment culture among employees and encourage them to work in safe and environmentally responsible manner by imparting training, education and information about health, safety and environment issues that may affect their work.
  • Empower our employees to fully implement the HSE Policy and hold all employees accountable for compliance with the HSE Policy, regulations and standards.
  • Abide by the local rules and regulations and of the Customers' whom we serve. (ex. Life Saving Rules, Golden Rule (Comply, Intervene, Respect))
  • Protect the environment from damage and pollution.
  • Reduce risks as low as reasonably practical via risk assessments in respect to Health, Safety and environment and employ safe technologies, operating procedures and emergency plans to prevent work related injuries and ill health.
  • Reinforce on empowerment of each employee to stop any unsafe work with full support from the management.
  • Monitoring HSE performance to determine compliance and keeping records in support of the management system.
  • Open reporting and investigation of all HSE related incidents.
